How It Works

Our 2 Hour Discipline Education Course is 100% online and includes full audio. To get started, just click the Enroll Here button in the “Discipline Education Course” box. From there you will enroll with your basic information, then pay for the course. Once paid for, you can begin immediately and stop and start the program at your convenience. The Discipline Education Class is divided into chapters and at the end there is a final exam. As you progress through the class, you will see the chapters are made up of pages of content. Each page will include text and audio. To give interest, there are pictures and videos. At the end of a chapter, there will be a short quiz made up of multiple-choice, true/false, and short essay questions. At the end of the course, there is a final exam, but don’t worry! It is set up in a similar structure and includes similar questions as what is throughout the course. What happens if you fail? Don’t worry about that either, we will give you a second chance at the final exam. So long as you actively participate, you will do an excellent job. Besides, many courts, lawyers, probation departments, CPS offices, social workers, and more require you take a final test while enrolled in Discipline Education classes.

Things We Are Not

Large call centers
Certificate sellers
Money order scams

The most common issue with companies offering online parenting classes is that they have very poor customer service. They do not answer their phone calls and voice mail boxes go unchecked (if they are not already filled to capacity.) So, what happens when you cannot finish the course you started? What happens when they don’t answer your calls, messages, or emails? You often waste time trying to contact the company just to get a refund from the bank. Meanwhile, your course progress is lost and you have to start the whole process over again when you go to another company. Very frustrating! However, we value your time and money and offer you the best customer service in the industry. If you need help or just have questions, our lines are open. With us, you will get a live person – usually within just one ring. In fact, we encourage you to give any company a call before purchasing. This will give you a good idea of what the company’s customer service is like. If you get their voicemail, then be very cautious!

Be warned: Others will take your money and sell you a worthless certificate without a course and the courts will not accept it. The courts have high standards for online discipline education courses and parenting classes. Throughout this process, it is easy to waste time and money. It is often hard to get a refund for courses not accepted and impossible to make up for lost time and stress.

There are also money order scams. These scams often state you must pay the company in the form of a money order to get started. The price may even be much lower than that of other companies. Be careful of a deal that sounds too good to be true, it often is! Beware, any company that exclusively accepts money orders as payment is an automatic scam. Money orders are very similar to sending cash money and can never be recovered. This is why money orders are used in these scams, because once you send money, you have no hope of recovering it. There isn’t a credit card company or bank you can call to get a refund in this situation.

What is Discipline?

Discipline is the process of teaching your child what type of behavior is acceptable and what type is not acceptable. In other words, discipline teaches a child to follow rules. Discipline may involve a consequence, such as a time out, and, more importantly, rewards. It sounds so straightforward, yet every parent becomes frustrated at one time or another with issues surrounding children and discipline.

A parent’s responsibility is to help their child become self-reliant, respectful, and self-controlled. Relatives, schools, churches, therapists, health care professionals, and others can help. However, the primary responsibility for a child’s discipline rests with parents.

Description

Should I spank My kids? This is a common discipline education question up for debate at the moment. There are many different parenting styles and some parents believe in it while others don’t. So, which is the right answer? What does spanking mean or not mean? The ultimate question at the root of this debate is this, “How do I raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted children?” The answer is complex because human minds, both young and old, are complex and parents want to raise their children to be successful adults. Parents want their children to grow into adults who are self-reliant, well-socialized, and contributors to society, which will one day have kids of their own.

To achieve a parent’s goal of raising confident and balanced adults, a parent needs to know the basics of effective discipline - such as when to administer discipline and when to provide praise. Too little discipline and children will lack structure, too much discipline and they will suffocate under the rules of the house and one day rebel. Learning this balance of give and take is very valuable to parents and beneficial to children. We can all agree that the extremes of this topic are not positive to children growing up, but parents often struggle with the place somewhere in between. It is a tough balance after all. What should a parent do when they are unsure of what the appropriate action is? What type of punishment is fair and appropriate when a child does something below what is expected of them? These are the questions this course will cover and provide answers to.

Discipline is the process of teaching your child what type of behavior is acceptable and what type is not acceptable. In other words, discipline teaches a child to follow rules. How can you provide discipline to your child so that he or she can function well at home and in public? Every parent wants their children to be happy, respectful, respected by others, and able to find their place in the world as well-behaved adults. Nobody wants to be accused of raising a spoiled brat.

But sometimes it seems that these goals are miles away from your child's current behavior.

Whether you’re taking this class as a parent with a child on the way or to learn how to discipline appropriately in a “grey area”, this course is the right fit for you. This Discipline Education Class is great for parents, childcare providers, and teachers. It is also a great way to meet requirements for courts, probation departments, custody evaluations, and CPS cases where a Discipline Education Course is required. This class is fact based and research informed. It is educational and not intended to replace therapy or in-person evaluations.
